NSW Home of the Year
Julian Brady of Sitedesign Studios North is proud of being the Landscape Architect for the recent 2013 HIA CSR NSW Home of the Year Award with the home designed and constructed by Chateau Architects and Builders. Julian designed the generous external decks, features, pool surrounds and gardens areas of the property. The project is a perfect example of seamless connection of the indoors to the outdoors using sustainable materials, such as western red cedar for the home and hardwood for the decks. This is a job we completed a few years ago. I was driving past and saw that the house was for sale and the garden was getting a final maintenance run. I thought it was a good time to get some shots.
Balgowlah Heights Landscape
Prestigious and Stylish Family Residence’ is how the owners described there newly completed home and garden. This contemporary garden design has characteristic of a coastal theme using local native plants and natural materials of decking and stone to contrast to the strong lines and white facades of the home.
